It started out innocent enough, that Monday morning, with a little meet-n-greet in the crib… But Aardy is the trouble making kind, and for no good reason called Finn a skinny tree hugging hippy boy with his trendy g-diapers and bare belly (obviously Aardy was looking for a fight). Little Finn was shocked, having no idea why he was being insulted- having only been in this world for 6 weeks, he was new to this stuff. So Finn asked for an apology, and when he got none, called Aardy a long-nosed carrot-face. This, of course, does not seem like a very strong come-back, but Aardvarks are very sensitive about their noses, and it was enough to enrage the little corduroy stuffy-toy.

In an instant, Aardy lunged for Finn! (It was a very Keanu Reeves/Matrix kind of moment.)

And tackled the kid…

Finn got his little skinny legs a kicking, and managed to get the beast off of him…

And went for the long (carrot shaped!) pointy nose…

I don’t know if biting is allowed, but Finn gave a good chomp, throwing Aardy off for a few moments…

Enough to grab the aardvark around the neck and…

it was a Throw down!

Finn: Mom! He’s sitting on me!
Aardy: I can wait here all day…

Aardy: Come on kid, just say uncle…
Finn: NEVER!
Aardy: Come on, it’s almost lunchtime, lets just end this…

Finn: FINE! UNCLE! But you better watch out, Aardfart- I’ll be coming for you one day!

And so the Finn and Aardy story began…
